While white or cream may be the most traditional choices, a splash of colour over your windows can give a room some additional zing, especially in children's bedrooms and kitchens. Yellow can be a good colour for kitchens and bathrooms. Sometimes even dining rooms that need lightening. Once you've decided you can also think about adding a few touches of that same colour to the room, auch as throw cushions.
